Remember this adorable family from my last shoot?
Well, I had the privilege of photographing them again for a very special occasion.
What was the occasion, you may ask??
In Japan, there is a tradition to commemorate a child's 100 days of life on earth....
How wonderful is that?! Their youngest little boy just reached his 100th day on February 4th.
As a photographer, I was both honored and a bit apprehensive about photographing a baby at this age...because...they are not as sleepy/pliable as newborns, and they also can't sit up on their own like 6+ mo olds. BUT little Riku did great! He was such a joy to photograph...and actually did a fabulous job of "sitting" up on his own!!

These next two are the closest I got to a real smile from this little guy...
Next, another outfit change...into something a little more Japanese...
Despite being the shortest shoot I have done so far, I think we got some great shots...I had such a great time with this amazing family!
