I learned two things about myself during this particular shoot. 1) Lifestyle sessions are my favorite,  especially in gorgeously decorated houses like theirs, 2) I enjoy taking photos of pets. Number 1 was a more of a confirmation, that I really enjoy these types of sessions the most, and since this was my first time taking photos of pets, I didn't realize how enjoyable it really is to photograph animals! Since this photo shoot took place they have added another cute dog to their family, a Siberian husky! --wish I could have photographed him too!

Mariko + Tony | Wedding

This wedding was so special to me. Not only because it was my little sister getting married, but she was marrying her high school sweetheart and soul mate. Their love story spans over eight years - eight years of dating and preparing for this one special day that would be the beginning of their lives together. I can't even begin to explain the joy it brings to my heart.

So of course when it came time to plan this long-awaited day, I was all in! From the floral arrangements and bridesmaid dresses, to hair and makeup on the wedding day....I didn't want anything less than perfection for my little sister -- she deserved no less. It was a busy few weeks leading up to the big day (playing wedding planner ;) ) but everything turned out just perfect. Thank you to all those who participated and made this day so memorable and special for this deserving couple that I love so much!
